Water Electrical Conductivity (EC)
This benchmark represents the lower critical electrical conductivity threshold below which osmotic stress and ion deficiency may occur in native aquatic fauna.
This value is based on the lower bound of the ANZG (2000) default trigger range for lowland rivers and represents an unnaturally low concentration of dissolved solids that could induce osmotic stress in local fauna.
